5.0 out of 5 stars Good laptop backpack
I purchased this backpack 2 years ago and use it everyday and it is still like brand-new! I traveled with it 3 times (US to Asia) and it works perfectly. I had a 14' Thinkpad and how I have a 17' T400. They all fit well in this backpack. Also, their is room for a folder, pens, power cord, my wallet and comestic bag! and the good thing it that it keeps your both hands...

2.0 out of 5 stars Very nice looking -- but disappointed in quality!!
OK -- overall this is a very nice backpack, but I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in the fact that in less than 30 days, the little handle at the top I used to carry it short distances broke. Trust me, it doesn't hold much more than my laptop and a (very skinny) portfolio, a couple of pens, and that is virtually it. So to have it break when I don't have it...

I purchased this backpack largely based on the reviews of other Amazon buyers, and I'm very satisfied with it. I mostly wanted something that wouldn't be difficult to carry, and this design is very comfortable.

So to have it break when I don't have it over-loaded AND am only traveling a short distance is quite disappointing! FYI, by "short distance" I mean when I am on the train, or riding soemwhere, and take it off my back, and then at some point I need to move or decide to change seats, or some "short" movement where it would be ridiculous to put it back on my back. It is in one of those instances where it broke, and now it is a pain when I am in that situation. Especially because I did not have it long. :-/. Disappointed in quality

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, November 4, 2009

This case is awesome. First week I took it on a business trip to Seattle and got a complement from a fellow woman executive staying at the hotel I was in. I knew I made the right choice. It was bigger than I anticipated but it organizes everything very nicely. Straps are comfy too.

5.0 out of 5 stars This backpack is just perfect for me!, March 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am a petite, 5'2 woman and must carry my computer with a few other accessories through the streets of New York City..on the buses, subway and trains. Bulky computer bags and regular size backpacks are too cumbersome to deal with. So I purchased this low profile backpack because it would not overwhelm my small frame. I could not be more happy with my purchase. It looks feminine, yet business like. It is stylish and durable. I truly love this bag. It is so comfortalble, I hardly know I have it on my back. Because of its low profile and slimline design, I can sit on the subway and the bus without having to take it off. Definately a great purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what my wife was looking for, October 22, 2010

My wife's company moved to a new building, so her two minute walk from the bus became 15 minutes. She has to bring a fairly heavy notebook computer home, together with paperwork, and this became tiring so she looked around for a backpack. This one is exactly right. Although fairly tall and wide (it would fit a bigger computer than the 15.4 inches suggested) it is thin, so it is manageable on the bus. It is very good-looking and business-like, with the leather flap. We used mink oil to waterproof it for the rain. She reports that it is comfortable and that many co-workers are envious of it. She would recommend this to anyone with similar needs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag, September 21, 2010

Just received my "Paris Slim Backpack" and I love it. It's ideal for a woman (or) man on the go that likes a slim back pack. Its elegant and yet sturdy. It has alot of useful compartments with and without zippers for pens, calculator, phone and even a removeable cosmetic case. It does have room to hold 2-3 small notebooks and ample room for a laptop.

I give this a bag 4 Stars! Glad I purchased on Amazon. Saw it on other websites for alot more.

Stylish, functional bag. I get compliments on this bag all the time. The only issue for me is I wish it wasn't called Mobile Edge for Her. I'm man enough to carry it though. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars A good bag, November 21, 2011
I bought a version of this bag over 5 years ago and it has worked well for me. I think this bag suits the occasional business traveler. The bag itself is very easy to get in and out of and has lots of storage areas for small things. My only complaint is that the construction of the top handle is shabby. It broke off in less than 6 months. After about 4 years one of the shoulder straps that connects to the o-ring at the top started to rip away from use. It's still holding on, but there will be no way to repair it once it does break. The zippers are great and the latch in the front also still functions very well. The shoulder strap pads are comfy and provide support during long walks in the airport.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle Bag, May 24, 2011

I have a lot of stuff to carry around. I also have shoulder and neck pain, so I'm very picky about what I use to carry my stuff. This bag is a Godsend.

It's a very structured bag, which was a little bit of an adjustment for me. However, I had no problem fitting all of my stuff into it (laptop, electronics, large wallet, files, three thick hardcover books). But what really amazed me was that no matter how heavy it felt when I lifted the bag in my hand, it felt practically weightless on my back.

The hardware wasn't what I would have chosen. The strap adjusters don't make it easy to adjust the straps, and there's no room for adjustment at all on the front closure. But this is a small price to pay for the absolute joy of this well-made, ingeniously designed pack.
