I saw this picture a long time ago on French TV. I was searching for the DVD or VHS since a long time now, but all copies in France are out of sell. It's impossible to find this film. So what a surprise when I found the movie .... in USA ! Of course it was on VHS, but at least, I can hear the marvelous voice of Yvonne Printemps again !! Pierre Fresnay, (Mme Printemps Husband) play the french Composer Jacques Offenbach, and Yvonne Printemps is Hortense Schneider, the Soprano. Many musical excerpts from Offenbach's Operetta. It's so delightful ! 95 minutes of happiness !
