This mat measures 4½' x 9' and catches every drop of mud, slush and grime that falls off of your bike, allowing your garage floor to remain clean and dry. You'll never track mud and grime into your home again. Prevents slips and falls that would normally be carried from the wheels, wheel wells, and undercarriage. Made of thick, rugged 20-mil vinyl with a 1 raised Snap-On Edge. Park Smart is the garage-floor protector that you drive onto, so it surrounds the whole vehicle. Easy to clean! After removing one or more of the lip end pieces closest to the garage door, sweep or hose off the Clean Park Mat. For mats with heavy debris accumulations use either a Wet/Dry Shop Vac, or simply squeegee out the garage door. Oils and grease wipe right off Park Smarts waterproof, non-flammable, oil-impervious vinyl surface. So your concrete floor remains clean and free of grit, salt damage and oil stains. Note: Assembly required - No tools needed. 1" side snap-on edging needs to be attached after mat is in place.

This product is basically a strong piece of tarp with tough plastic edges that you snap together to hold the tarp in place.

I probably didn't do enough research on this item before purchasing so I was disappointed. I have had this for about a month now, still no tears in the plastic. When this one does finally give out I won't purchase a new one, I'll try to save some money next time and purchase a plastic cover / mat / or even cheap carpet from a hardware store.
