5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!!
The tire stop parking mat works great! I have tools against the wall and never could judge whether my Nissan Armada SUV was fully in the garage or not. The tire stop mat prevented me from bumping into my tools and damaging the paint on my front bumper.......

1.0 out of 5 stars Needs periodic adjustment - Change rating to 3 stars
I bought two sets of these mats. They look nice, but you must be aware that they will slide somewhat, so you have to adjust them periodically (perhaps weekly). One would have to nail these to the floor to keep them in place!
I initially gave this one star, but have recently tried using them again, and have changed my mind somewhat. A more realistic rating would...

I initially gave this one star, but have recently tried using them again, and have changed my mind somewhat. A more realistic rating would be 3 stars. There doesn't seem to be a good alternative - I tried the electronic type which measures distance from a sensor. The one I had was very accurate for about two weeks, then stopped working altogether.

these mats are poorly designed/made because the plastic is warped and there is no way to securely attach them to concrete (even with stickies).

4.0 out of 5 stars Works OK, September 21, 2009
I've had one of these for over a year. Although it is advertised as being brightly colored for visibility, it can't been seen once you start into the garage because it's below the driver's field of vision. But it does help placement of the car and, as long as speed is slow, it's easy enough to stop once you feel that first bump. It stays in place most of the time. Driving onto the tongue of the mat keeps it in place under the weight of the car. But in wet conditions, as the mat dries, it may stick a bit to the tire and be pulled out of position as the car is later backed off the mat. Fortunately we can usually feel that happen and can place it back into position. To facilitate this, I recommend putting a small mark on the garage floor once you know where you want the mat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not exactly as it seemed, November 26, 2010
This review is from: Park Smart Parking Guide
I thought this product was rubber and heavy duty, but it is actually hard plastic. It does seem fairly durable, but whenever we try to drive onto it, it slips forward. There are sticky tapes to stick it down, but with the force of a car, how long do you think that will last? Also, the 1st hump you drive over is too high which makes it slide forward more. We had to cut that hump off and, as a precaution we filled the larger hump with concrete. This works fine except for the little bit of concrete dust that comes out when it does slide a little. The product we previously had from an Auto store worked much better, except it eventually cracked. A full rubber one would be best, but if you fill one from the auto store with concrete, you would have a very good product fairly inexpensively.

5.0 out of 5 stars That was easy, September 26, 2010

I've had this in my garage for almost 3 years, and I would definitely buy another if I had a 2 car garage. I looked at the laser things and figgured you need to adjust it every time you change cars. This you do too, but all you do is move it. It stays in place well, as long as you don't turn the wheel while you're parked on it. (Duh). It moves maybe 1 inch during the week, so I just push it back with my foot. I marked where the corners are on the floor with a marker so I can always put it in the right place when it moves or when I hose it off. Go buy one, it's great, simple, and it works.
