I was looking for a set, and wanted to balance not ending up with cheap, light balls against paying a bundle. I bought this set largely based on the prior review that says the balls have heft. That review didn't disappoint as the balls not only have heft, but rank on par with the best set I had previously played. The carry case is very nice too and even includes a measuring string with a base that fits around the pea for accurate measuring when necessary.

My family loves this set. The Bocce balls initially felt a bit heavy, but we are Bocce novices and quickly adjusted. Composition wise they are similar to pool balls. Sometimes the balls land on other balls which resulted in some minor chips. However, in general the balls seem very tough and resilient and able to withstand the collisions without any evidence of damage, e.g. cracks or scuff marks. The carrying case is adequate to carry and protect the balls. However, The set is heavy to pick up. I would recommend this set to both novice and experienced players.

The first time I used the set on grass in my yard and they were great. Then 2nd time I took them to the beach. My gf had the red balls and I had the blue balls. (no pun intended) She could only throw the ball about 8 feet because they are too heavy for her. About 15 min into the game, the impact made a big chunk of the red ball to crack out. I called the company to explain the situation and get a replacement. They asked me to send them an email with pictures. I took a bunch of pics, include the other colors which looked brand new, and emailed them to customer service. I then followed up 3 weeks later. I NEVER got a replacement ball or any communication back from her, even though I followed up. I even called a month later by phone and she was 'unavailable'. In short, their customer service is NON-existent and Park Sun DOES NOT stand behind their products. If you read the reviews, another person had a red ball crack on their first or 2nd use. BUYER BEWARE. I paid extra $ to buy this premium set and it did not last 2 hrs of use. Unfortunately, it was past 30 days so I couldn't return it to Amazon, whom I'm confident would have done the right thing. I will NEVER buy a Park Sun product again!
