This item clearly states "made in USA" in the Amazon listing, which is part of why I went with this one. It is NOT-it's made in China and says it on several parts. My husband has been trying to put it together all day. About half the holes don't line up-some are off by 1/4 inch or more and he's had to actually drill new holes to get it together. The screws that hold the ball returns in place were too long, and we didn't know it until we realized they had punched through the laminate sides so we had 4 screw tips sticking out around each ball return opening. We unscrewed them a ways to pull the tips back in, but we still have 4 holes around each ball return opening. The picture shows a finish piece around the return holes-there are none in the box. The corner slopes are not completely flush to the table so the ball will stop at the corners, not roll up them. The sides and ends do not line up with each other either-like a cheap picture frame doesn't. There are 1/4 inch gaps in some places. Right now, my husband is actually taking it apart again to try to get things to line up better so it looks and plays decent. Also, one side has a chip out of the bottom edge of the laminate-came out of the box that way. It would cost a fortune to ship back (250 lbs) so I guess we're keeping it.
