This is a great set for kids under 15. With older kids and adults with long arms, you can almost do finger rolls into the basket; so if you are expecting a replica basketball set like in amusement parks, this set is smaller. However, all we did was change the rules so bigger kids shoot from farther back. problem solved..

As mentioned by someone else, we also had a problem with the electronic score keeper not keeping score. However, I called the company and a nice lady took down my address and a new electronic rim was at the door 2 days later. Great response by the comapny, and we have been happily plunking baskets ever since...

I bought this unit from Park & Sun last Christmas (2005) for my kids. Installation was easy enough and we were having fun with it for the first few weeks. At that point the electronic scoring stopped working, and I called Park & Sun for a replacement unit. They were out of stock but promised to get me a new unit. It never arrived after months of additional calls, so I finally gave up. In the meantime, the rest of the unit fell apart with normal use. The unit is all plastic parts, velcro, and nylong cord/netting, so over time the side netting broke loose, the connection of the net to the backboard tore away, and all that still worked was the metal rim. I finally took it down and threw it away.

It may be that my experience with the product and company was isolated, but I wanted to post this review so that others were at least aware of the potential issues.

bought this piece of junk last year; it didn't even last 1 day of use at a kids party! The rim/hoop wouldn't stay up, so 1 of the kids had to stand on a chair to hold it up for the other kids to have some small measure of fun!!money wasted. i'm an international purchaser so it wouldn't even be worth the while (in terms of shipping)to return this item. Totally disappointed!

This basketball hoop is great!! I like how this one slides out as opposed to unfolding. My kids can be a little rough on toys and everything and so far this has held up well. It comes with 3 basketballs which is perfect since I have three kids. You can also use any other balls you might already have. I also like that I can fold it up and it just disappears into a cabinet on a wall. I even enjoy playing. It also can be plugged in or use batteries. It keeps score for 2 people for 1 minute each. So you can play against a friend to see who scores more baskets. Great product highly recommend.

It is great for kids (I would not recommend it for adults).
My 6 year old likes it a lot (but not my 4 year old). I like playing
it too but would not buy it if I did not have kids. It is too
easy for adults. Good product. No problems with it.

We ordered this for a christmas gift for our 8 year old son. After just 3 shots the basket disconnected from the rim due to a poor weld -- the joint between the basket and the plate that connects the basket to the backboard was completely rusted. We are trying to contact the manufacturer.

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend (he's 24) and he swears it's the best present he's ever gotten! It provides endless amounts of entertainment and can even make you break a sweat! Love the fold away feature so it doesn't take up the whole living room! The only reason for the 4 star rating was that the hoop started coming apart & it would be a little more challenging if it could be mounted higher.. but other than that, it's definitely worth the price!

Received item waited for Christmas to set up and scoring system didn't work right out of the box. Hopeful either park and Sun or Amazon will rectify this. To be continued. The kids are not happy :(

We had a larger PopAShot for years. Our 4 kids played on it daily(long after the scoreboard quit working and our then 3 year old cut the net on the sides.) It was probably the most used "toy" we ever had. However, when we we're looking to replace it, we wanted something that didn't take up quite so much room as we were also looking at getting a pool table. The FoldAHoop is perfect because it folds up and out of the way when not being used. We haven't had it long enough to know how it is going to hold up, but it's good so far.

We bought this for my daughter a few years ago and she still plays with it. It has held up very well and is addicting. No one can walk by with out taking a few shots. I also love how it folds into the wall when not in use.
