5.0 out of 5 stars One Stop Solution
I looked at my other options to change out an external bottom bracket crank and this was the only one stop solution. This tool worked perfectly and I couldn't be more satisfied.

2.0 out of 5 stars Buy the socket tool, not this.
My title says it all. I have both tbis tool and the socket version. My bottom bracket was way to tight for this tool and it was hard to keep this from stripping the groves. The socket is easier to control and put the necessary torque into. The tool itself is fine but was not what I needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Park Tool Quality Speaks, March 8, 2010

Park Tools are quality. If you need a BB tool for Hollowtech or other compatible external bearing bottom brackets, this is the one to get. But you probably already knew that. The little plastic end wheel for removing crank arms works OK, but not nearly as well as the business end with the big teeth. Positive grip without worry of damaging the cups or scratching the frame.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Handy tool for Shimano 105 5600 BB, January 10, 2012
This review is from: Park Tool Bottom Bracket Tool - Hollowtech II - BBT-9C (Sports)
I'm upgrading my bike to Shimano 105 (5600 series) and there would have been no way for me to tighten the bottom brackets without this tool. However, the only downside to this tool is that you can't measure the amount of torque being applied to the BB. Regardless, this tool is very useful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bottom Bracket Tool, December 28, 2011

This is a professional style bottom bracket wrench for Shimano BBs. Good feel with quality construction. If you are a DIY person this will work great. You do have to pull the crankset in order to use it on the bottom bracket. Pedros version BB wrench that has an open end may be a better match if you do small tune ups and just want to retighten things. The other end works on the crank caps.

5.0 out of 5 stars use this all the time, September 4, 2011
really good tool to have if you service your own bike. BTW this would work not only for Shimano bottom brackets, but with others as well. when you need to service the bearing there and need to clean there it is very useful and easy to use, just like the cassette tool there is no real replacement and it really come handy

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Park Tool, but I Don't like the Cap Tool, June 8, 2011

This tool works well to get the bottom bracket apart, but the plastic spindle remover does not provide enough surface to grab onto to remove stuck-on caps. Park Tool makes a metal tool for this also (BBT-10) that looks like a big wing nut. In hind sight I should have bought that as well. Most of the time those caps are stuck on there really tight. The BBT-10 would make it much easier to get the cap off. From personal experience, I highly recommend it in addition to this tool.

It did the job of removing the bottom bracket from one bike and installing on the other. I can't complain.

Yeah it's a bit pricey, but it works very well and really its not to bad of a price for a custom tool. Park makes great tools and I appreciate that.
