This review is from: Park Tool Rotor Truing Fork - DT-2C (Sports)
As a former LBS wrench for over 10 years, I've had the chance to use a few different rotor tools. Here's the sitch on the DT-2. The tool has two working ends, each end has a different slot depth. The shorter one isn't the most useful, in my experience, drastic bends in the rotor that can only be fixed by extremely localized force aren't worth the effort-it's usually better just to replace it. That being said the end with the longer slot works like a champ on warped rotors, it has enough length to get deep on the disc and work out gentle imperfections. I also like the heft of it, it actually has a bit of weight to it, which helps modulate the force exerted on the rotor. This is a great product for home mechanics and pros alike.
