This item: Makes truing a wheel and rotor extremely easy. The Stand, I can true my wheels in a snap, for either lateral or vertical truing. The Gauge, I never thought a rotor could be trued so precisely. I have BB7's on my bike, 206mm rotors. I can get them trued so well, I can adjust my brake pads very close without squealing (from rubbing) to the point were my brake levers need very little throw to fully engage my brakes. Just the way I like it. The Spoke Meter, A Must! The only way to truly and safely true a wheel. You need a Spoke Tension Meter.
I had two new wheels, a bit flexible. I felt drift when traveling at 30MPH and was hit by a cross wind. I put the Wheels on my Truing Stand and while using my Spoke Tension Meter and following the graph that comes with my Tension Meter I tightened my spokes while still keeping my wheels true and keeping the Tension within specification and was able to make my rides much more stable and it only took me about 30 minutes for both wheels. Truing my wheels on the frame is not even close to what I can do now.
