I just recieved this and I'm returning it because it doesn't contain the items described. It actually contains: AWS-10 hex set 1.5,2,2.5,3,4,5,6mm; CT-5 mini chain brute chain tool, DCW-1,2,3 cone wrenches, FR-5 Cassette lockring tool, GSC-1 GearClean Brush, HCW-16 15mm Pedal Wrench / Chain Whip, HR-8 Hex Wrench, SW-7 Triple Spoke Wrench, SD-2 and SD-3 Screwdrivers, VP-1 Patch Kit, TL-1 Tire Lever SEt.

I am going to keep this short.

This kit horribly put together in regards to the cone wrenches. The kit supplies you with three double sided cone wrenches ranging from 13mm to 18mm. Now this sounds great, except for the fact that you only get one of each size, making it impossible to do repairs to the hubs of the bike. How are you expected to get (in my case) get two 17mm locknuts off the bolt with only one cone wrench that fits? If you do somehow manage to loosen the nuts, how are you expected to properly re-tighten each?

This kit left me severely disappointed and I could not finish the repairs I had hoped to.

Do not buy this kit, but if you do, make sure you order an extra cone wrench that will fit your bike.

I ride a Jamis Ventura Sport for reference.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband last year since he got back into cycling. Well, he LOVES this kit! It has pretty much everything you need to do simple repairs. It is such a relief to see him head to the blue tool box instead of rummaging through the garage or, in some cases, my kitchen for a tool substitute. Park Tool has been around a long time and has a great reputation for quality tools. I don't see how you can miss with this starter kit. Also, the price I got on Amazon was much better than at the local big chain sports store.
