The pump failed in less than one month.
G. Flemming
The part solved the problem, but not long afterward, the main tube started leaking air, now I can't even use this pump.

Though PFP-6 costs less than other pumps, you don't save money by buying something just to throw it away.

I have only had this product 4 months and it stopped working.
It will not pump up the tires at all. Sounds like something is leaking but, i can't figure out where.

I tried to tighten everything on this pump, and still couldn't get it to pump air into the tires.

It worked great, never had any problems before this morning. No abuse until today.
I would try and return in, but in a fit of rage I smashed the pump into the ground breaking the handle, so now there is no chance of fixing it.

Park - do a recall - it's clear everyone is having exactly the same problem - will not inflate past 80 psi after 10 uses. Your o ring is defective. Replacement parts will not fix it. Hopefully this will reach someone there...

Apparently something in the base of the pump breaks, and now they all leak so much that they're unusable. Park Tool has sent me new bases to put on the pumps, but that didn't fix any of them.

I haven't experienced any leakage with this pump, but the nozzle presses on my presta valve so hard it has pulled the valve right out of the tube when trying to remove the nozzle after pumping. Very disappointed in what is supposed to be a good brand name in the bicycle industry.

From day one, it felt like the o ring inside the pump was leaking, since it was really inefficient at inflating my tires. Two months later, the pump now leaks so badly around the base as well as the hose connections, that it will not produce pressure over 20 psi.

I have a Joe Blow that I use and was given this pump. The Joe Blow has lasted forever and a day...this Park product has been malfunctioning from day one and it's "heck" on a presta valve. Thankfully this pump was given to me...my only issue is how to dispose of it...'cause...it's trash.

I didn't buy my pump from Amazon, but my experience should help some people with the defective pump. So like most people on here I purchased the Park PFP-6, and it was broken right off the bat. I didn't return it, but called Park 651.777.6868, a real person answered the phone, and transferred me to a real person in warranty without any wait. They listened to me, explained there was a batch out there with the same problem, they knew of the defect and are sending me a new pump. I think they're not recalling all of the pumps because it's not a defect in all of them, just a large number. Anyways, it was reminiscent of awesome US customer service from back in the 80s and early 90s before all bike suppliers and manufacturers moved overseas. They do usually make the best products ever for working on bikes, and they're still in the US (although the pump is put together overseas).
