The Threadless Nut Setter is used to install the star-fangled nut found on 1¿ and 1-1/8¿ threadless headset systems. Thread the nut onto the TNS, insert into the fork stack, and tap it in with a hammer. Sets the starfangled nut to 15mm and keeps it straight. Long handle helps prevent pinched fingers.

What else can be said about Park Tool's products? They're best in class, but you pay for it. If you need to install the starnut in your aluminum or steel steer tube, this thing gets the job done. (You don't need this for carbon steer tubes, they use a compression plug) It drives it in straight and smooth.

At ~$17 for a $5 piece of metal, Park Tool should at least provide some lube. ;)

Heavy, solid, great.

Does exactly what I want (setting star nut) without flaw. Be sure to get a rubber mallet as well.
