I used this as a power input for a guitar pedal board. It worked perfectly and was very easy to install. One thing to be aware of is that you will will need a 1 7/8 hole saw to install it. That size is a little hard to find. Ace hardware does stock it, but strangely most of the larger home improvement stores do not.

I am using this plug on my cargo trailer that is also used as a camping trailer. I drilled through the wall and can now hook up my internal systems to AC power at a campground or at home as I need them. It doesn't seem to have any flaws and worked great.

Bought this for my 05 VW Passat TDI. I used it to wire into my Coolant heater. Now I have a discrete plug that I can use when the weather is cold. Easy to install and easy to use.

These work great for block heaters. I have installed a couple of them on Ford Powerstrokes. The cord on those often fails from dangling in the wind while driving eventually breaking the wire internally. This is a great fix for that. Installation is really simple with a hole saw.

I purchased this to be used as a plug inlet for the engine block heater on my 97 F250 pickup. In past winters, I have had problems with icing on the old cord hanging from the bumper, which would trip the GFI where I plug it in.. Once the existing plug broke, I decided to drill a hole in the bumper and install this one. The install went well and we will see this winter how the plug works out.

I installed this plug in a 2006 chevy duramax in the lower front bumper for the engine block heater. It was easy and water resistant and easy to plug my extension cord.

This receptacle is exactly what it looks like/what you expect. I drilled a hole in my bumper and mounted it for use with my block heater. Works great, and looks good, its low profile so it doesn't stick out like sore thumb. I also used one for the block heater on an Ambulance at work, working great.
