This review is from: ParkZone Horizontal Stabilizer: Vapor (Toy)
The Parkzone Vapor is a fabulous plane. It is capable of exciting aerobatics when flying it outside but it is also slow enough to fly it inside (with practice and providing you have an average-sized room).
But, sadly it is not perfect. things break.
Which brings me to this product. Along with this replacement "horizontal stabilizer" you can buy a replacement piece for almost every part of the Parkzone Vapor. In particular, I recommend picking up a few extra propellers, they are probably the easiest thing to bust up and yet replacement ones are only about $3.
The only fault of this is that it wass a little difficult to remove the broken stabilizer in order to replace it, although that was partially my fault. I recommend using hand sanitizer to remove the glue (weird, but it works) but some superglue had gotten into the joint on mine when I was attempting to repair my broken stabilizer myself so I had to carve the piece off with a pocketknife. Once you put on the new one, DON"T GLUE IT ON. Just slide it on and let friction hold it in place. The plane is so gentle that under almost any circumstance it won't experience enough force to dislodge it. This will make it easier if you ever need to replace it again.
Happy flying!
