This is my 4th Ultra Micro. I have the Um P-51, Um T-28, Night Vapor, and this Um Polecat. I have over 20 flights with this plane. Overall this is my favorite plane.

Pros. very fast and stable. Beginners might find this plane too twitchy. (very responsive) Inverted flying is very fun and much easier than the P51 or T28. The red paint scheme and white and blue underside is beautiful in the sky.

Cons. the only thing i don't like is the foam spinner, and wheel pants, they get easily damaged, the rest of the plane is rock solid.

*Update
The only things I needed to change after getting at least 100 flights:
1 Motor
2 Props (I use the rubber spinner from the 4site)

Make sure you have Foam safe CA, I had to use some on the bottom of the rudder so theres no wiggle. I also broke the elevators, easy fix with CA.

Thhis is my high speed cruiser. The wings have no stress marks, its really tough I've done cart wheels. I really like the shape and color of this plane.

Don't we all want to just walk into the yard or small park and fly? I got the Ultra Micro P51 for Christmas but it flys like a neurotic bottle rocket.

The Pole Cat is something else altogether. It's large wing area and ample power pulls it up with authority. After a few rounds over the small (50'x90') yard I was ready for the fun stuff. Snap rolls, inverted dead-man spins, hammer heads - no problem. It is not at all like a big plane with that reassuring weight but it's as close as a micro, without AS3X, will probably be. After a very agressive first flight it slipped over the high yard fence and settled softly with space to spare. This is a very nice little plane.

Probably not for beginners though. It's easy enough to fly but like any low or mid-wing plane it rolls, dives and stalls quickly. You have to fly it all the time.

When I destroy it, and I will, I'll get another for sure.

I'v been flying ultra micros for some time now. This one is the most fun i'v had so far. It's a blast to fly and tracks like on rails. Turning radius is extremely tight. It rolls, snaps and inverted with no problems. I needed to add a little nose weight to keep it from zooming upwards when going into the wind. The motor mount is very fragile and I had to finally use epoxy to keep it from getting loose after head-on crashes. Get rid of the wheels and tail wheel if you want to minimize damage. Very durable though.

I have flown RC models for many years, but have not flown much recently. I purchased this a "Motivator" to complete some larger gas models.

I am Absolutly amazed at the quality and performance for the price. It looks great, Flys great, and is durable. It rolls, loops, and hammerheads really well! It flys inverted better than many Ultra Micros, but you need to give it a lot of down elevator to keep it flying inverted.

The color scheme is very easy to see and the power is there when you need it. It's very durable. I'v hit the ground pretty hard and sat it back down and kept going. The balsa models I learned with would never have taken this much abuse.

*This is not a beginners airplane* but if you have some experience and want something small to fly in the local park or street, this is a lot of fun in a small package! Wish I could give it 6 stars....

This is my first micro plane. I was a little hesitant that this would be some cheesy airhogs type of plane, but after seeing some of the reviews and videos I decided to give it a shot. I'm sure glad I did! It's an amazing little plane! It is very responsive yet stable. It flies like it's on rails, very much like a tiny pattern plane. It could use a tiny bit more power; it's not anemic by any means, but it doesn't have unlimited vertical. Overall, I'm really satisfied, and I'm sure I'll buy more of the parkzone ultra micros in the future after seeing how well this one flies.

Very Fun - But you better know what you are doing. Not an entry level model. If you are new, Get yourself the Champ High Wing Trainer.

Wheel pants are useless. They broke on the very 1st landing. I pulled them off. As a matter of fact, I'm going to take the landing gear off. They are also useless unless you are landing on a smooth surface. I'v found that these small foamies get torn up pretty easy on the pavement. So I belly land them in the grass. Indoor flying and landing on a gym floor would probably work very well.

Plane is fast, responsive and fun. I'm trying to teach myself 3D flying to see if I like it. This is an inexpensive way to try.

Had a great time with this plane. Only issue was durability of the rudder and elevators- very easy to damage. I don't get to go out flying much so a more experienced pilot could make this plane dance ballet in the sky avoiding some of the novice mistakes I made.

i now am lucky enough to own the spitfire t28 and now the polecat.. this plane is 4x as thick as the t28.. its more stable in a roll or upside down than either.. t28 has cornering because its light.(flimsey id say) and the spitfire has the best overall stability in wind. but let me finish with my heading. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO FLY AND ARE THINKING OF A MICRO THE POLECAT IS IT! if your learning get the polecat because its cheap right now, and youll wreck either... but the t28 is easier to fly. a bit slower too.
