4.0 out of 5 stars Not for beginers
Small size and light weight makes this a calm day or indoor plane. It is very suseptible to the torque of the engine. Flys well for what it is.

2.0 out of 5 stars Worst plane I have ever owned.
This is the worst rc plane I have ever owned. If you can get it to work it is very fun, but incredibly fragile. My prop shaft broke after the first flight, the elevator and rudder are paper thin, and the wires came off of the chip after just 5-10 light crashes. The foam it is made of is easy to fix, but if it breaks beyond repair you're going to be paying almost 30...

4.0 out of 5 stars I was surprized (and pleased!), September 18, 2010

When I bought the SUKHOI SU-26M, opened the box and noticed the paper thin tail, I was very skeptical.
I figured one ill timed sneeze and snap, there goes the vert. stab/rudder. With this being only my
second plane I was almost convinced I should just repackage it back up and return it to the hobby store.
I flew it however and was amazed; it crashed hard, nose first, into grass yet was unscathed. I then preceded
to crash 5 more times with the same results. It's only fare to mention that those crashes were due to my
having the aileron channel reversed. After figuring that out and getting it all trimmed, I found the
SUKHOI SU-26M to be a pleasure to fly! Maybe it's because I have so little experience with what REAL
performance should be but I was very pleased with how the little plane handled in the air (though it is
a little more tricky in 5+ mph wind).

I wouldn't say this plane is impossible for a newb to handle (because I am a newb and seem to be
doing all right with it) but would definitely recommend logging TONS of time on a flight-sim first
(I use Phoenix and LOVE it).

Good luck.
