I was first introduced to the wonderful talents of Kyle Riabko at a "Spring Awakening" performance on Broadway. His performance was so powerful and thrilling that I soon realized I needed to hear more of his vocals.

After buying this album, I must admit I was slightly disappointed. For someone who performed such a risky role, I expected his music to reflect his sense of adventure. That's not to say his music is not heartfelt, it is simply nothing like the person I saw potential in as an artist. His music reflects a "pop" background with the exception of two songs from the "Spring Awakening" performance. While I was anticipating more rock music, what I got was a soulful singer that creates a state of "mellowness" to the listener.

Overall, I wasn't expecting a soulful pop artist but he definitely has potential to become greater as time progresses! While I was astonished that the "rocker" I saw in "Spring Awakening" was in fact a pop musician, I am still glad I made this purchase. Kyle's music is lovely and meaningful. He appears to be a down-to-earth artist that I can definitely appreciate and hope to hear much more from in the future.

Kyle Riabko is a fantastic performer. What a talented young man with an amazing voice. His version of the "The Guilty Ones" and "left Behind" from the musical, Spring Awakening, are fantastic. Riabko is currently playing Melchior in the National Tour of Spring Awakening.
