the game is awesome, but there are only a few scenerios available. once you've solved them the game is pretty much useless.

This game is ok, but it only gives you 5 cases. I probably won't play it anymore because you know the outcomes. I'm not sure why they give you a thick notepad that makes you think you will play the game over and over

While there are other options for CSI games, for multi player purposes, the DVD format lends itself well to the multiplayer competitive player. The PC software version doesn't work well with Vista (you don't get video footage.) This dvd version can be difficult because there are many options that you must choose at the end to arrest the correct suspect.

I would have really liked to have an option to "cheat." After 4 attempts/arrests of the wrong person during the correct timeframe or the correct person during the wrong timeframe of the murder; I began to get fustrated with the idea of choosing another suspect with the options another timeframe. At that point I wanted to admit the game beat me and I just wanted to satisfy my curiousity and find out who did it and when, using what method. Not an option on this DVD.


If you think your good at this stuff like I am its worth a shot. I enjoyed playing the game because it was a challenge. Appearantly one I was up to, are you?

Very cool game. Like the other reviewer said, it's no good once you solve all the crimes, but it's entertaining. Definitely worth the $6.

The instructions are pretty vague for the game. Things they don't tell you, 1. Everyone can see your clues and investigation, especially this matters if you are playing with multiplayers or on a big screen. (You may Not want to play with multiplayers either,because the game seems to take very long.) You will have to get up and stand in front of the Tv if you really want to "win" or keep your investigation private, so if you don't care, you should just play the One investigator mode, it's more fun anyway. Also, if you do it that way, other people may miss some clues. So you kinda have to share, it's confusing, what to share and what not to share. 2. The time frame they are looking for the murder, is NOT the time of the murder, but the actual time of death, this is unclear in the instructions. ... The game is really a story and most of the evidence is circumstantial at best, you are picking the most likely candidate, but the evidence and the clues sometimes aren't enough really to "convict". Also after collecting all the evidence, if you pick the wrong suspect' time, or cause, for arrest, it says, "insufficient evidence", when really, it should say wrong GUESS, because we had all the evidence, it was just telling us the wrong thing. My family plays a lot of games, it was annoying at first, and really you are just watching a bunch of stories, once you watch the stories, just like in the TV show, you can usually figure it out. There are some cards you look at, but you do not actually have to do any comparison or take Any notes if you pay attention. It's ok, not great, but for less than $10, go for it, it's a fine way to kill a couple hours and get a Csi fix.

I found this product interesting and entertaining. a clear learning tool in current investigation techniques and logic training. I recommend it as a fun learning tool.

Bought this for my mom, who is an avid CSI fan. She is a single person and I like that she can play this on her own for entertainment. Don't know how many times you can play before it gets boring, but for the amazing Amazon price, it was worth it.

If only there were more than 5 cases! I loved this DVD game; however, there are a couple downfalls, appropriately listed in my title. Since there are only five cases, I had them all solved in one night. So before you drop alot of cash on this game, consider two points: 1.) how much would you spend for one night's enjoyment in a game, and 2.) once you have solved each case, the chances you will play it again are nil, unless you have a real bad memory. Then, it may be worth it to spend a little more :)

If you're a fan of CSI and video games, this is for you! My husband saw me enjoying it so much he had to, too!

If you`re to have friends over will be a nice game, but once you play it (5 scenes) it's done, there's nothing else to do but wait for someone else to use it.
Besides that is an excellent game and the price is good, so go get it.!
