These refills are almost bulletproof. They write smooth and consistently even on the occasions when I've dropped the point on the concrete floor. This Refill does not lay down a bold line like the Gel Refills do but that also explains the reason why they last for months instead of weeks. I haven't done testing on how permanent the ink is but it doesn't run when exposed to moisture and it never smudges even though I am left handed.

i bought a home made pen at a craft fair that was really cool but it took parker pen refills. no where but on amazon could i find refils for it. this refil i bought fits it fine and writes fine.

Parker Pen refills are hard to find in the local department stores. I am appreciative that they are available on-line. But, they are way too expensive.

Parker's ballpoint pens are not very good. They don't write very well or dark and are not very nice to work with.

I DO like their roller-ball pens though. They're like writing with a fountain pen without all the mess, highly recommended. Though beware that some of the cheaper pens might lack durability in securing of the cap.
