I've used a Stainless Parker Jotter for work since 1990. I've never had a complaint with the original refills. In need of ink on various occasions in the past couple of years I have had to use the Gel Ink. The Gel Ink goes down bold and thick but the tip is not as smooth as the standard refills and the ink is very easily lifted if rain or other liquids come in contact with what you have just written. Another drawback with the amount of ink that gets put down is that a refill may only last a week whereas the original refills would last me months!
This complaint may sound a little extreme but one drop onto the shop floor with the tip extended renders the refill useless. This is in stark contrast to the original refills which occasionally I have dropped 2 or 3 times with no adverse effects to the writing ability.
Hope this is helpfull
Shalom
Michael

I have several S&W tactical pens that came with ink. I prefer gel and these refills are perfect replacements. The pen, not retractable, uses these refills Military Police Tactical Pen, Black. I assure you that they fit perfectly.

Don't buy this product from amazon. I was very disappointed to discover that every other refill in all 2 packs purchased of these refills had the wax covering the tip missing. The effect was that only the refill which had the covering functioned while those with the covering missing were dried out. The refills when functioning are excellent.

I enjoy professional looking pens. The trouble was that many use rollerball inks that skip and dry slowly on the page. The mass produced gel pens have won many people over to this fast drying, smooth gliding technology. However, the refills for these mass produced pens have been designed not to work in the professional looking pens.

With these refill I upgraded my Duofold ballpen to a Duofold Gel. The results are excellent with all the features of gel technology.

I have found many companies are giving away good looking tradeshow pens that take this same refill.

I could not find this refill in my local big box office supply store. Even so the best price was here. I highly recommend this refill.

I've used Parker Gel refills for years. Decided to try to save a little money this year. Instead of buying them from a major office supply store, I went with this Amazon seller. These were not the same quality, even though all the packaging was identical to store-bought. It was as if they were dried out. The gel "went dry"/ran out much sooner than ever before.

As noted by Flashbizz in his review, the packages all have one refill with a wax covering, and one refill without (and therefore completely dried out). I thought his experience was an aberration, but I ordered 3 packs and each had the same problem. I guess this supplier bought a huge batch of defective ones, and they are dumping them on Amazon. Buyer beware... your two-pack is really a one-pack.

Hands down the best writing refills out there. Parker gel inks are smooth, last ages, don't smudge easily and are very rich in colour - blue is nice and bright, and black is true black. If you have Parker pens, don't mess about with anything else, you'll just be wasting your time.

These refills work as you'd expect. As they're gel very little pressure is needed to write on the paper which is nice in that it doesn't leave indents in subsequent pages in notebooks or notepads, etc. It also allows for less strain on the hand, allowing for more extended periods of writing before experiencing hand cramps.

The ink is very black and more likely to fade to grey than blue, unlike the non-gel Parker refills. The ink is also well formulated for Moleskine's line of notebooks and journals, which is it's primary use for me.

The pen also writes smoothly with only occasional skipping of the ink.

Overall I'm pleased with the ink. I'm a big fan of Parker pens and this ink makes it work well with my love for Moleskine notebooks while also working for just about anything else, though it does sometimes have difficulty with carbon copy.

Defective and disappointing. Both refills stopped working in 2 days. Very rough and not smooth at all from the first day. Not sure if this pack was just defective or this French made unit is just junk.
Not recommended. On the good side, seller sent item very quickly.

I had three replacements and they were all same. The ink does not flow properly with the result that the writing is spotty. Parker says that the refills are old (2010) and ink dries up after two years.
