"Parkinson's Disease Treatment Guide for Physicians offers the opportunity for a second opinion or at least a primary learning source...This work is clearly written and well referenced with up-to-date discussions that rival nearly anything out there in manuscript form." --Department of Neurology, University of Minnesota

As a PD patient I found Dr. Ahlskog book to be very informative, well written, and concise. When I finished reading it I gave it to my Neurologist.

This book is great for the PD community. It provides ideas to a family physician or neurologist who does not specialize in movement disorder treatment.

Dr. Ahlskog answers almost every possible question concerning PD and treatment. The writing is clear and concise. The sections on sleep problems, the value of exercise, and what do to when levodopa becomes less effective were very helpful. There are excellent patient hand outs which can be copied -re starting different medications. Dr. Ahlskog also is willing to share his wisdom regarding the the effectiveness of different medications - especially for different age groups. Would highly recommend.
