I'm a single with an almost 24/7 job, so I can only get to the store once every two weeks. I found that a quart of milk gets drunk within one week and a half gallon of milk spoils before the end of the second week and I can't finish it. Parmalat is like a dream come true. I can have my milk for two weeks at a time (or more) and in single quarts which are just about the right amount for one week for me.

Then I moved to a city that doesn't carry Parmalat in any of the grocery stores!?! O_o ... That's why I'm thrilled that I can order my Parmalat online through Amazon and get enough to last me a month and with reasonable expiration dates too. ^_^

Parmalat is a great product to keep on hand for several reasons. It is just milk that has been heated higher than Pasteurization to the point of sterilization at the factory.

1) In a major emergency involving power failure - Parmalat assures you and your family will have nutritious milk to drink directly or add to dry cereals.

2) This also makes it fine for camping and other enjoyable trips. But once the package is opened, it must be consumed or refrigerated. The milk will spoil just as quickly as "regular" milk after opening.

3) Keep a few as a back up in case you run out of "regular' milk

4) Cost about the SAME as regular milk!

Our foundation has rated this product highly and lists it among other items here at amazon.com to our viewers in the Emergency section at our shareourtips.com where we also show how to use it to make yogurt in one minute

I buy milk at the grocery store just like everybody else. I like milk, but sometimes [despite my best effort] I wind up throwing unused milk away because it has soured before I could use it up. I don't like to waste food. I tried buying a quart at a time or half gallon, but the quart did not last long enough and the half gallon was not sufficient when cooking or baking.

We have all had this problem, I am sure. I found a solution that works perfectly for me - Parmalat Whole Vitamin D Milk. This milk is pasturised at a higher temperature than pasturised milk and can be stored on your pantry shelf for up to six months without fear of spoilage. Once opened it must be refrigerated just like pasturised milk and used within 7 days after opening. This milk comes packaged in quart-sized containers so it is very unlikely that the contents will spoil before used up.

The milk has a rich, creamy taste and reminds me of unsweetened, condensed milk. I buy this product whenever I find it available to supplement purchases of regular pasturised milk. The cost per gallon of Parmalat is comparable to the price of pasturised milk in the dairy case. It is a good value for the money. Try some for yourself and see if I'm right!
