This is EXACTLY the type of air rifle that I was looking for! If you remember the "pop" guns from the early 1970s, this is practically its twin. Even though the manufacturers of today do not make children's toy air rifles out of metal anymore, the body of this rifle is made of a VERY durable plastic. Perhaps we will someday purchase the soft rubber ammo; but our son is just turning eight years old, and the fun he gets from just hearing the popping sounds is just enough for him. Even though the manufacturers label this as a toy for 14 years and older (probably because of the ammo issue), I can honestly say that I can recommend the Speedy Kid Rifle for practically any child over the age of eight. Since only air comes out at its end, I don't really see a danger issue. All of my older brothers had this style back in the '60s and '70s, and no one ever got hurt. Buy with confidence on this one!

This gun is perfect as a specialtist sniper rifle. Its range and accuracy are superior to that of a nerf or rubber band gun. But, its clip capacity of only 5 rounds force me to give it a 4

Awesome lever action, great price for a fun toy gun that shoots rubber bullets. the bullets shoot super fast and hard, great for aiming targets.

You can never go wrong with a gun like this when you have a house full of boys. My older boys down to my younger loves it.

Bought for my advanced 5-year-old niece and she loves it - teaching her gun safety at a young age. I think it is a great toy and a great price
