Parrot Fever is a great book. It's about a girl, named Val Taylor, who had a bunch of green parrots, and one macaw, land in her backyard. About two hours after they landed, all of the parrots except for the macaw flew away. When the macaw was on the ground eating seeds, Val's cat attacked it. Val's family has to take care of the bird until it heals its wounds and they can find out where it came from. I like this book, because at the end of the book, Val finds a good home for the parrot.
