(The heading of 10 chairs on this review is incorrect; I ordered/got 6)The chairs were perfect, my only complaint was that they arrived past the latest promised date; it took weeks to get them. Delays from the warehouse or distributer. However, the company readily admitted the problem and were approachable and responsive. I had a few questions which they addressed quickly. Why does the description include "NEW" in quotes? Because Amazon sells both new and used items. Yes, these are indeed new. They are a deep dark chocolate brown. The quality is great, with nice detail in the stitching/roll seam on back. Aesthetically, I wouldn't say they're 100% the typical straight back Parson style, as there is a slight flare out at the top, but it's a nice line. They were packaged remarkably well, 2 to a box and seriously easy to assemble. The parts fit together like a dream. The seats are very thick and comfortable. I'd be hard pressed to differentiate between leatherette and leather in this case. You can't beat the price, either; I looked.

The chairs will suit us for awhile but the quality is poor. The chairs arrive completely diassembled. All parts are Made in China. I would view the title of the ad "Brown Chairs..." in the loosest sense, as these really do not look brown. If you are looking for inexpensive chairs that will last for a short while, these are for you. If you are interested in investing in furniture of quality, I would highly recommend not wasting your money on these "brown" chairs.

This product may actually exemplify a good value for money. However, with fear and suspicion of the odor to never disappear in the future, I need to sell all of these for almost nothing in Craigslist. I am unable to return because I have discarded the original carton of the assembled four. I will give away the assembled four and unassembled two for almost nothing.
