Three was indeed a lucky # for KC, as "Part 3" scored three Top 5 hits in 1976 and 1977. In fact, this release was so popular in the clubs that the disco chart in Billboard didn’t bother breaking out the songs individually; it just ranked the whole album on the charts!

...I wore out three copies of the "Part 3" album. I drove my mother crazy for this when it first presented in 1977 and have the fondest memories of my first forays into Classic R&B/Soul. This album was a masterpiece and it featured hit after hit after hit including "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "I'm Your Boogie Man," "Keep It Comin', Love" and "I Like to Do It." The first three of the aforementioned titles rode into the Top 10 on both the Top 100 and Top 10 R&B Singles charts. This particular album as well as the preceding eponymous one, were their two highest charting records. Sadly, their music has always been pigeonholed (for some reason) into the category of "Disco" and such is the case. They're an R&B band through and through.
