I rolled my eyes so many times...,
This review is from: Part of the Bargain: Part of the Bargain\To Wed and Protect (Bestselling Author Collection) (Mass Market Paperback)
I picked up this book based on the author alone. I usually enjoy her work, but this book is just so boring! The character development is weak, and the entire plot is fight, wild sex, fight, wild sex, fight, wild sex. I was surprised by one element of the book, however: on page 147, Miller uses the word "tacitly". This is a nice change-up from the phrase "by tacit agreement," which she has used in every other book I have read. That alone was worth one extra star, otherwise it was only worth two stars.
I recommend borrowing from the library or a friend first.

Part of the Bargain by Linda Lael Miller,
This review is from: Part of the Bargain: Part of the Bargain\To Wed and Protect (Bestselling Author Collection) (Mass Market Paperback)
There isn't a better writer in the romance genre than Linda Lael Miller. She delivers a solid story with strong women, foul language isn't necessary to get her point across. I'm not sure that I have read every book she ever wrote, but my library shelf is loaded with a good number of them and I've read and re-read most of them more than twice.
