I picked up this book based on the author alone. I usually enjoy her work, but this book is just so boring! The character development is weak, and the entire plot is fight, wild sex, fight, wild sex, fight, wild sex. I was surprised by one element of the book, however: on page 147, Miller uses the word "tacitly". This is a nice change-up from the phrase "by tacit agreement," which she has used in every other book I have read. That alone was worth one extra star, otherwise it was only worth two stars.

I recommend borrowing from the library or a friend first.

I can't think of a Linda Lael Miller that I haven't loved and these two were no exception.These titles were both terrific and as usual I am waiting for her next book

There isn't a better writer in the romance genre than Linda Lael Miller. She delivers a solid story with strong women, foul language isn't necessary to get her point across. I'm not sure that I have read every book she ever wrote, but my library shelf is loaded with a good number of them and I've read and re-read most of them more than twice.

I have recently read several of her books, both series and stand alone titles. I have become a great fan of Linda Lael Millers. She has great romance and some suspense to her stories. She also has strong leading ladys which i like. I look forward to reading more!!

I didn't like this one much; the plot consists entirely of fighting and making up with not much reason for either, and the hero is a complete jerk. There are lots of problems with scenes - one minute they are in a truck, in the next paragraph it's a station wagon. But it really is interesting to read if you are a new romance writer - Linda Lael Miller is a GREAT storyteller now, one of the best in romance, and you can really appreciate how her skill has developed over time. Inspiring!

Typical Miller book. Not too impressed with it but read it to the end, which I don't always do.

Miller writes stories that put you right in the middle of the adventure. You will enjoy these two.
