Abby Talbot thinks that her husband has lied to her and may be having an affair. She files for divorce. Luke Talbot has sworn and oath to protect his country and to not reveal certain items --- the entire nature of career as a spy. This conflicts with his desire to protect his wife. When someone tries to kill Abby, this conflict reaches its peak.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The suspense element was a real addition to my reading pleasure and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how these characters were going to work themselves out of the mess they created!

In contrast to her novel Nevermore, a paranormal romance, The Part-TIme Wife has a more whimsical, punchy and even sassy writing style. It is rare to discover a writer with so much versatility in their tone.

Abby Tablot learned her husband Luke is lying to her when she called his hotel room where he claimed to be staying there for business and learns he's never been there. Angry and hurt to find out that he's lying to her Abby files for divorce. What Abby doesn't know is Luke is a spy. Because he's a spy Luke can't tell her the truth but he doesn't want to lose his wife. At the same time Abby's life is in danger and Luke's determinded to protect her. This was a great story. Abby and Luke were both very likable and you could feel their love for each other and I enjoy every thing from beginning to the end. This defiently a book I'll re-read a hundred times.

I loved this series and couldn't wait for each new book. This was a great ending to this series--throughout the series, references were made to this couple so you wanted to know more about their story.
