Ms. Gravitte's voice is a standout. She can add feisty humor to "One Jump Ahead", sassiness to "Growing Boy," and bluesy soul to "Crystal, Ronnette and Chiffon," a tribute to girl groups. But don't discount the added "Someday/God Help the Outcasts" on this Alan Menken collection; the combined song medley is heartbreaking and unforgettable. I would urge you to buy her "MGM LP" as well. She sings MGM songs like "Where the Boys Are," "Treat Me Nice," and "Tico Tico" in her winning style that is so wonderful. I hope she releases more CD's in the future. It's been a long time between releases!

This is a great album...love Debbie's voice, interpretations, selections (also love Menken), but this is the same album as Debbie's Alan Menken Album--except that one has an extra track from Hunchback. Don't buy this one--buy the Alan Menken Album!
