Zen Hopper
A Zen Master... of Hopping?

Welcome to the Cave of Transcendence, where Zen masters apply their skill and training. Prove yourself worthy of the title Zen Hopper.

Zen Hopper
The tutorial takes you hop by hop through the first level
Move Without Moving

The concept is simple. Hop across a series of wooden pillars over a bottomless pit. Don't miss any; try to touch the center of each pillar as it passes for a perfect score. The poles move faster and faster, increasing the challenge. See how far you can go in Endurance Mode or find out if you can complete the Belt Mode challenges from white belt to black belt--achieve your black belt for a special ending.

Focus Without Looking

A dragon slides gracefully up the left side of your screen, marking the time until the end of your current challenge. Meanwhile, your sense of balance is marked by the lotus flowers on the right. If you close all of the lotuses, you've missed the pillars too many times, and you must repeate your training for the current level.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much to do in game April 28, 2012

The game idea is straight forward in which the player "jumps" from platform to platform by tapping the screen. If you fail to accurately tap the platform multiple times you lose and have start again. There are two game modes: endurance (endless run) and belt (levels that get progressively more difficult). After playing both types once you have played the game to its extent.
Pros: You get to practice eye hand coordination.

Cons: Redundant after playing it one time.

If you like tapping moving objects go for it, but avoid if you want something more engaging.

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring... April 28, 2012

Yet another variation on the type of "the more you tap, the faster they go" falling object games. visually uninteresting and the game progress speeds so fast that without perfect hand-eye co-ordination and lightning reflexes, you will struggle to play it. OK if you are a particular fan of this type of game just to add to the collection, but otherwise something like "Bugs War" is much more fun and accessible.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not much to it April 28, 2012

The challenge is to not miss a pole as they scroll down the screen, going faster with each level. Miss and you lose a life, represented by the flowers on the right. You can also earn lives by taping a pole perfectly. The flowers seem redundant since you can't even see them as you are concentrating on not missing a pole. Same with the dragon on the left. In Endurance mode you just keep going until you run out of lives.
In Belt Training mode the round is over when the dragon reaches the top of the screen. I got bored with it pretty quickly.

The music and graphics are nice, and zen like but trying not to miss a pole as the go faster and faster gets pretty intense, counteracting any zen like experience. I did not get any lag on my Kindle Fire as some other reviewers have mentioned. However, I won't be keeping this one.

Played for about ten minutes. Unistalled. I am not sure what the appeal of this game was supposed to be, but it was just in no way entertaining to me.

3.0 out of 5 stars ehhhh..
Tap on the tops of pillars to run across them as they scroll across the screen.

The controls didn't seem very accurate. Maybe it was a timing issue on my part. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Rather lame
Weak tutorial almost makes the game seem like there is more to it that just isn't explained, but there isn't. The concept could have been taken much further.
