This review is from: Partial Differential Equations (AMS Chelsea Publishing) (Hardcover)
This is not a new book; it has been around for a long time ( it was edited in the sixties, I think ).
It is quite theoretical, but no Sobolev spaces. The fact that it is alive after such a long time must mean something. The author main concern is about proving therems, not necesseraly solving partial differential equations. If you need a good book on solving, try Zauderer. |
