Celebrate Recovery puts anonymous recovery materials back where they came from, the Bible. God provides the strength to overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups that keep people from being all they were intended to be. Not just for addictions, but a recovery program for the wounded soul. I recomend it for churches, prisons and any other place where real recovery is desired. It is now being used in New Mexico prisons.

Over a year ago I began a Celebrate Recovery group at our church, and had been praying for God to show me what type of recovery group He wanted. I had never in my life done anything like this, but God was calling me to do it. Two days later I went to visit my mom at her church and they had Celebrate Recovery set up. I found out later that they did this one time per year at their church (did an entire service just to introduce Celebrate Recovery to the church). I ordered all of the book information, and it has been a life altering experience for me and those who are in the group. We have followed all of the instructions in the Leaders Guide, and it has been a success! I praise God for this recovery group. Without God and Celebrate Recovery I would not be where I am today. We continue to work through the materials, and every time I am truly amazed at how GREAT it is. I pray the Lord blesses Pastor Rick Warren and John Baker for their dedication to bring this to the world. If you work the program as it is designed there is no way you can fail. Sometimes it feels like you aren't making any progress, but when you look back to see the milestones you cannot argue with it! It truly works! Praise God!
