I assisted my Mother through her hospice experience in 1999 and am preparing for a ministry that will focus on the end-of-life journey. I found this book to be excellent in how it assists anyone in the dying person's life (friend, family member, chaplain, volunteer or professional caregiver) to companion with the person in ways that will enrich his or her last days here (life on earth) and prepare him or her for the journey to the beyond.
