I am a contractor. The partner k 700 that we use almost daily stands up to the challenge remarkably well. The wet saw adapter is a nice feature. low vibration. Power is o. k. as long as you let the engine reach full rpms' before you start your cut. If you think that you might need more power, you may may want to opt for either the 950 or the 1250. The 700 is lighter and will handle most jobs. I am currently looking for a concrete saw cart that will accomodate my k 700 to help with long straight cuts and back fatigue. Another nice thing about this machine is that it is capable of cutting other materials such as block, brick, asphalt, and with the right blade, metal. If you keep your eyes open you can sometimes find a special deal on a saw package that includes a dimond blade. That can save you 3-$400.00. A diamond blade cuts faster, cleaner, and lasts much longer, epecially if you run it wet. Overall a good piece of equipment for the money.

I bought this saw and I am very impressed with it. The main factor that I like is that it is light and balanced and starts with in a few pulls. Im a mason and when you are making several cuts, and you are bent over holding this saw it seems to let you cut longer without having to rest your back. I do agree that you need to let the saw get up to spinning speed before you get aggressive with it, but once it is up to speed she goes! I looked at the 12" saws and for the exta money your better off buying the 14" saw. It cuts just that much deeper and you dont have to do any hammer work to get the depth you want.I have an upright target saw and one blade fits both which is nice for me.
