5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars For Such A Thorough Book!, December 15, 2008
This review is from: The Partridge Family Album (Paperback)
I never saw such an enormous chunk of research which went into this very well-written book. Chock full of wonderful photos from the series, a challenging trivia quiz, a guide to all of the episodes, including characters' real names and songs, this book is the definitive guide on The Partridge Family and there will never be another book to top this one. I loved it and treasure my copy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, but not groundbreaking, July 14, 2000
This review is from: The Partridge Family Album (Paperback)
Mr. Green reuintes America with one of the best known TV"bands' of the early 1970's in his book. Although the song analysis seems a little over the top (The show was concieved to cash in on the monkees and other acts where EVERYBODY sang and played an instrument)for this book, it shows just how dedicated Mr. Green is.

In a period when the dilemas of cultural upheval, war and political turmoil were becoming harder to conceal from the average middle class suburbs, this show might have helped some people. Despite the psychedelic graphics, this "family" was other wise indistinguishable from their neighborhs. That balancing act is problaly what contributed to their ultimate sucess.
