I bought this to use with my Samsung SCHA930 and my wife's LG cell phone so that we could use normal headphones to listen to the built in MP3 players. Unfortunately it did not fit either of our phones. Let me clarify that, the jack did fit, but the plastic around it is so bulky that we could not plug it in all the way so only one side of the headphones would work. The quality of the product itself seemed fine as long as you're buying it for something other than a cell phone mp3 player.

I purchased this product hoping to use my headphones and other devices with my phone's MP3 player. The adapter failed miserably. I could not hear from both the right and left headphone speakers at the same time. The most confusing problem occurred when I plugged in my headphones into the phone with the adapter. My phone began to either redial or open a function. This adapter is not meant as a solution for the LG's new Chocolate phones.

Some manufactuers choose to use the smaller 2.5mm female plug for their headphones. Most US headphones are standard 3.5mm wth a male plug. This adapter solves the mismatch problem. The adapter is bulky but works.

This is not a bad adapter, however the plastic around it is a little bulky also, when I pluged my 3.5 earphones into this and, the adapter to the primary adapter I could only hear from 1 side. So to fix this problem left it a little open from the bottom, and then i was able to hear from both sides.

This adapter works just fine. It's bulky, though, and that might prevent you from using it with some appliances.

Basically ,I had a head unit for my car sound system. Saw it had a auxiliary wire input for and ipod/Mp3 player. Then bought a auxiliary wire. Tried the wire on the head unit, but the auxiliary head was to big. So, I bought this adapter and couldn't be happier.

What I got looks nothing like the picture. Waste of time to return it. If I wanted an L shaped adapter I would have ordered one. I needed what was pictured!

I bought this adapter so I could use a 3.5mm cell phone earpiece with my 2.5mm cell phone. Unfortunately, I heard NOTHING through this adapter. The seller (Amamax) was kind enough to send me a replacement, but again .. NO sound. My musician father-in-law said that it might have something to do with the rings on the earpiece plug lining up properly with the adapter; apparently, there are different numbers of rings depending on if the plug is wired for mono or stereo. He tried the adapter with his stereo headphones and it worked fine. So your satisfaction may depend on why your purchasing it; might work for stereo headphones, but I wouldn't count on it for a single cell phone earpiece. Hopefully, this will save someone some of my frustration.
