The coupler allows you to connect two fibre optic cables to extend them. It works well, however I noticed that the signal is lost when a device with a weaker transmitter is used with this coupler. It shouldn't be a problem for most people, unless you are planning to use this with a computer.

I re-wired my TV and dropped the cables down the back, however the cable I used was too short and the electrician had left.
I ended up buying this and another line. It works but the signal is lost somewhat. Watching movies can be difficult to understand all the dialogue. I think I'm gonna have to drop a longer wire down the back of the wall. Like I said, it works but it's not gonna be grade-a stuff, ya dig?
