Bartender, give me an Entendre. Make it a double.

That's the kind of wit that makes me feel a bit clever for having gotten the joke. His cartoons generally aren't going to appeal to the witless. As it is, I expect one in his books to have me bemused and my going to friends asking for help understanding the gag. I like being challenged like that.

I bought this book because I'd bought one of his others and loved it so much I bought two more. If you like laughing at high-brow humor, he's your man. But don't be shy about hitting Wikipedia now and then to educate yourself enough to get the joke.

Actually Blazek has a style similar to that of Larson, but with 20% fewer talking snakes...and subject matter more like Seinfeld might have chosen--except for the talking snakes. Chock full of quick wit. I just kept reading one panel after the other without being able to stop.

Parts of My Brain is popular with both the adults and the pre-teens in our house. It seems to feed that quirky twitch we are genetically pre-disposed to!

Blazek's mind bending comics gets to my funny bone like none other. This book is as good if not better then the first "Loose Upon the World" in that the each page brings on more mind bending humor then the last. Have had family and friends pick it up off the end table and they have not been able to put it down; thinking at times with a quirky smile - laughing out loud at other strips! Keep them coming....

Wonderfully quirky, funny. An interesting view of the odd "ordinariness" of daily life...things we might think about in the inner recesses of our minds, but wouldn't always be able to verbalize quite so well. He's done that here. Irreverent, and worth a read. Great coffee table party book.

Far and away the best book I've read this year.
