This delightful book is one of my favorites. It encourages creativity for children and the adults in their lives. My teenage daughter and her friend enjoyed a "Teddy Bear Tea", making placemats, dragging out stuffed animals, and preparing special foods to share with each other. I've bought an extra copy to tuck away in case I ever have a grandchild to share it with!

I've had this book since I was very small (when it just came out) and I loved it! I was going through some old stuff in may basement about a week ago and found it, and BOOM! Rushing back came all these memories. this is a great book, especially if you are a slightly romantic six- year- old. It's a wonderful sort-of hands-on type thing, and my book still smells slightly of cloud cookies. :)

this is a children's book. it is very cute but probably wouldn't interest anyone over the age of 8, 10 at the most. the recipes are extremely easy and there are simple ideas for decorations. several themes for parties are presented.

The art work is beautiful, the tea party's creative and the recipes easy to follow. A treasure for anyone who wants to share a tea party with someone special... like a granddaughter.
