5.0 out of 5 stars Hold On To Your Ass... July 9, 2010

....because you might just laugh it off. Party Down is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen. Not for the squeamish; frequently raunchy, always hysterical. Every cast member shines.

4.0 out of 5 stars Where the Veronica Mars support cast ended up... June 16, 2011
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
...which is not a bad thing by any means. It takes a couple of episodes to get the gist of the short, punchy episodes (similar to Arrested Development in this way) but after a few shows, you will be hooked. A great motley bunch of characters, and if you love Jane Lynch in Glee, check out the other more manic side to her personality in this show. This is a tad like Clerks for the catering industry, but each show is so full of cameos from huge actors, it is impossible not to love it. Another great series from Rob Thomas, whose work is completely underrated in America.

5.0 out of 5 stars Genius May 13, 2010
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
On the basis of the critical acclaim it's received, I recently purchased, sight unseen, this Starz comedy series about a catering company staffed by actor wannabes and has-beens. Conclusion: in terms of intensity and frequency of LOL situations and lines, it's probably the funniest sit-com I've seen since The Office (way better in that respect than 30 Rock, which I also dig). It's a shame that it's on Starz because so few people will see it, but it's available on DVD and I encourage you to take a look.

5.0 out of 5 stars So funny!
If you like Mike Showalter and David Wain's stuff, you will probably enjoy this. Similar to Wet Hot American Summer or like Arrested Development. No laugh track. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars They always cancel the best ones...
This is, by far, one of the funniest TV shows that has ever been on. It's a true shame that the networks always cancel the great ones (see: Arrested Development, as well).

Another great show gone before it became popular enough to hang around. Just like Pushing Daisy's, Surface and Freaks and Geeks.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, but repetitive
The show starts off pretty well, but it gets old very quickly. Not too much new is happening, and a few of the characters are just not very interesting. Read more
