Yeah. So, nothing is coming out on CD anymore because of the download industry, but those of us who want many of these mixes on physical CD find solace in series like this. This volume gives us some hard-to-get versions of some hot dance tracks. I still can't believe there was no CD single released for the Paula Abdul/Randy Jackson track, but here is one of the mixes for more than 5 minutes. Along with the good comes the cheesy--a cover of Donna Summer's Hot Stuff, cover of Mr. Mister's Broken Wings, a cover of Bob Marley's Could This Be Love, Black Box's Ride On Time, and yes, even a horrible cover of the big Leona Lewis hit Bleeding Love--would much rather have had the dance mix of HER version. This is, overall, a very uplifting set, not anything of the peak hour energy level. My personal favorite after the Paula Abdul is the harder, electro house track "Love's a Basic Freedom" by Pleasure Center, both of which almost seem out of place on this fluffy set. Track times:
