It's been much too long since Lonestar last released a cd, but this cd makes the wait worth it. This is truely Lonestar at their best. We're talking "Lonely Grill" quality. You get everything you expect from them and so much more. You can jam to "Party heard around the world" or can can shed a tear with "She wants what she wants" or just chase a dream with "The future". If there was any doubt that Lonestar wouldn't survive having Richie leave them, this cd should erase all doubts. New frontman Cody Collins has an amazing voice (no studio effects needed. see youtube). Love it!

There are only two kinds of Lonestar albums -- good and great. And this one is closer to great. Great tunes and great arrangements. Some folks might argue about whether this is country, rock, or pop. But who cares when the arrangements are so good and virtually every song could be a single -- no filler here like you get on a lot of other top artist's CD's.
These guys truly care about the quality of the songs they record and the way they sound -- and it shows in every cut. The new lead singer brings a little youth and a little "edge" to the group. But the rest of the guys provide the rock solid musical backing, some very tasty solo licks, and great harmony vocals to make sure they get the most out of every song. (Many of which, by the way, they wrote themselves!)
If you like Lonestar, buying this CD is a no-brainer. And if you're just hearing them for the first time, pick up this CD and the greatest hits CD while you're at it and you'll be in business.

I'm going to make this short and sweet. This is the greatest CD I have bought in a very long time. Every song could be a No. 1. Cody is a fabulous lead singer and the arrangements are perfect. I haven't been so excited about a group in a long time. Lonestar has moved forward since Richie left and is not looking back. Cody sounds a lot like Keith Urban on some songs but he can definitely stand on his own. I highly recommend this CD. I'm buying more to give away to my friends and family.

Although I've been a fan of Lonestar for only a few years I was very anxious to get their new cd. Unlike the previous reviewers though, I was somewhat disappointed with their latest effort. Any resemblance to country music appears to be purely accidental - I would have to categorize it as pop or rock. And to me, all the songs seemed very much alike. I did like the lyrics to "Live, Laugh and Love" and "You're the Reason Why," but all the tunes sounded similar: same beat, same tempo, same volume. I would have liked to have heard more variety in their songs. Although I'll continue to play this cd (maybe it will grow on me), I'm much more likely to listen to my old Lonestar cds.

This CD was a pleasant surprise. Most of the songs are upbeat, and every one I found myself singing to after a couple of listens.
"Making Memories" was awesome as I have some of my own memories that this song brought back. "Y.O.U" is a snappy tune that is reminiscent in style to Lonestar of old. "You're The Reason Why", "The Future" and "Let Me Love You" are some of my other favorites.

I've been waiting for this album for 2 years now. Ever since I won a chance to see them perform live in Atlanta in a private radio station performance. Cody kept winking at us! The whole band was so sounded so great that I followed them to Macon to watch them perform for our troops! It was worth the wait! The album sounds great, thanks!! My favorite is still "Let me love you".

Last night i was at the Elkhart county 4H fair and Lonestar was there! so i had to check out how Cody was. He sounds simular to Ritchie which helps when they sing older songs like I'm already there which was terrifically sung. anywho I bought this cd and it is amazing Codys very good, no hes better than good hes amazing I personally dont think hes better than Ritchie but thats because every old Lonestar fan has to say that. But I think that if u liked the Lonestar before Ritchie McDonald left 4 his solo career (he has his own cd out) then you'll definatly like this to. Well i hope i was helpful
