An unusual batch of cover songs!,

This CD is amazing! All the songs here are covers, and you will be surprised once you figure out who the original recording artists are. They make you guess! I would like to announce that they range from everything to: The Go-Gos, T.Rex, Louis Armstrong, The Vapors, The Sweet, The Archies, Pink Floyd, and the Scorpions- (these are among the "popular" artists' songs used). Many of the others are as the Vindictives themselves noted, "Fabulously Obscure" You'll be hard-pressed to figure out them all. Plus, every song on this CD rocks! This is quite possibly the best CD of unique cover songs that a punk band will ever release again!

This cd rocks so hard. I listen to it over and over and over again. A song can only get better when the vindictives play it. Buy this CD!

You would think that an album full of cover songs, done by a pop punk band, would be a recipe for disaster. Not so in this case. The Vindictives are a strong enough band, with enough snotty bile and vitriol to inject even the most innocuous of songs with some punk pep. And as far as format goes, this was formerly issued as a CD with only 1 track, comprising all the songs, and it appended a few extras at the end (the Vindictives Sex Pistols 5") but now that it has been reissued, the tracks are all demarcated so you may listen democratically, instead of fast forwarding through 1 huge 50 minute track. Though I think the extras got torpedoed in the process (which, if that is the case, is a negligible loss). This and The Many Moods Of... are the perfect duo to introduce anyone to the brilliance of The Vindictives.
