Cuando escuche su primer album (el anterior) me dije que le faltaba Mecano (la banda pop espannola con la cual se hizo famosa). Pero el tiempo me demostro que no hay tal cosa.

Este album de Ana demuestra que su capacidad de composicion e interpretacion no tienen nada que buscar en ningun otro lado.

Ritmos contagiosos como el de "Ya no te quiero" y funky, como "Dulce pesadilla" se balancean de manera exquisita con baladas como "Cuando no estas" y "Una cancion de amor".

La calidad de la grabacion es, ademas, impresionante. Hay momentos en que los instrumentos salen del equipo de sonido y se meten en la habitacion donde esta escuchando el album

Luego de haberlo esperado por tres meses adquiri aqui este CD. Es sorprendente porque se logro explotar la voz de Ana de una manera que no la habia visto aun... Si bien dista bastante de sus origenes con Mecano como tambien de su primera produccion como solista "Puntos Cardinales" se encuentra uno con un material excelente y muy cuidado en todos sus aspectos... Ana nunca defrauda...

After the frustrated Mecano reunion, Ana restarts her solo career with a wonderful album. But please, don't buy this CD looking for a pale shade of Mecano. Buy it for Ana, for her huge effort and compromise with her fans. My personal favorites are "Al sur" and "Cachitos de un sueño". You'll find a variety of rhythms and emotions here, you won't regret it.

This CD is really beautiful. Very natural songs, full of nice lyrics and passion. Especially the song oye ya no te quiero is very nice.

She's a artist, she's a song writer,she have the voice and the real scent of a true poetry...And,yes,she did it again. "Pasajes de un sueño" is so calm, so sweet, so intimate..
"YA NO TE QUIERO" "CACHITOS DE UN SUEÑO" "DIOSA DEL COBRE" and "CUANDO NO ESTAS" are truly amazing...just go and buy it. You don't regret it...

Ana Torroja weaves new experimental twists in her comeback CD. The music is richer, and bolder...and somehow permeates into your skin. Her voice consistently angelic...provocative. You don'have to be a Torroja fan to enjoy "Pasajes de un Sueno", but if you are, you'll soon realize why you loved her in Mecano!

Despite having moved away from the sounds of Mecano, Ana Torroja has created a new sound of her own. The melodies and lyrics chosen for this production define, still today, what good music in Spanish means to me. Ana Torroja remains one of the big talents within my CD collection. Great Work!

I got this CD one week before than anybody. My first impresion was really good, Ana's new record is completely different if you compare with Puntos Cardinales or her time in MECANO. Her voice is in a way that she had never sung. The music and the production is completely brilliant, made by peoble like Arto Lindsay, Andre Levin, Nacho Bejar or Txetxo Bengoechea. Sometimes, the MECANO's fans miss the magic touch of Cano brothers, but now MECANO is broken.

First listen: "nothing special" Second listen: " well, it's not that bad" Third listen: " I actually am really enjoying this." The problem was, I was expecting Mecano, but this is one that you just have to listen with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is, which is a beautiful recording. The vocals and the catchiness to most of the songs actually remind me of Mecano (which is arguably the greatest pop band ever). While Ana did not write most of the lyrics in mecano, she here demonstrates that she is capabale of writing very memorable,intelligent lyrics. The best songs are "dulce pesadilla" "al sur" "pequeña rosa" and "jugando al escondite".

This is almost worthy of 5 stars, but because it has several "throw on tracks" I give it 4 enthusiastic stars!
