I bought this tool to replace my old Paslode finish nailer. I was first skeptical about the magazine and housing being all plastic and almost bought another brand that still used aluminium. It has held up, but the tool is taller than the old one and does not seem to have enough power. I have also had several driver blades break in only three months. I will put this one on the shelf and either look for a used old Paslode model or switch brands completely.

I'm a finish trim carpenter for 6 years now. I stared off with the older paslode. Fantastic gun! Started to look for one to replace it. Tried a lot of other types but none had the power like a paslode. So gave this a try. I can drive a 2 an a half nail into a ¾ Tred of maple into the rizer of maple and still drive my nail. No nail set for this gun. The only thing I don't like about this gun is the nose. Other then that, perfect gun!

I'm a DIY'er remodeling my house. When it came time to trim my 2700 sq/ft, I didn't want to do it with a hammer and finish nails. I had a compressor so I purchased the Paslode because I've heard good things about their quality. The first time I got it out and put 2" finish nails in it, I was amazed how easy and accurate it was. The nails were buried perfectly without having to adjust anything. The only problem I had with it was because of something I did. I was going to glue and nail the trim under the toe-kick in my kitchen. I had 1" brads so I turned the air pressure down. I started having issues with the drive pin not retracting all the way. DUH!!! I finally read the manual and turned the air pressure up about 5 psi and problem went away. I can only imagine where I would be if I were trying to manually nail all that trim. Very easy to use. Light weight but not cheap feeling. The only thing I would prefer would be an angle nailer. The straight nailer is sometimes awkward to maneuver into corners. Other than that, I love it

We own 3 of these purchased from Amazon and 1 we bought from a local tool shop. Most guns these days are made to use a few yrs. then throwaway, but these seem to stand up better to the rigors of everyday use.

I've only used my paslode a couple of times for small furniture reconstruction tasks, but haven't had any problems to date. The tool is as advertised. One potential concern for future buyers is the seemingly limited supply of nails for this tool shorter than one inch and a quarter in length, as I have not been able to find any in local stores. It would be beneficial to source the usable nails before purchasing this item, but otherwise, it's a great tool.

Not all that impressed-pro custom/production trimmer-for some reason have to run it at 120psi to consistantly countersink nails-granted I'm not a homeowner that uses it here and there-I shoot 1000 -5000 a day-if i have to stop and countersink anything its not a good thing-so far holdin up to the psi but if it takes a s*** it will go in the dumpster-I pay any price for good tools-if it caint perform and not a demo-bye-

Supposedly this is a very good nailer. This particular gun has difficulty firing quickly and starts sticking after two or three clips of nails. I've followed the oiling instruction to the drop. no help with this problem. I build cabinets for a living and this is not a production gun. Will return this one ASAP.

I am in love with this gun. Having used a battery powered tool in the past (which to be fair was older and well used) this one surpassed all my expectations. Has never jammed yet, great range of adjustments, and feels very well made.
