5.0 out of 5 stars Good fun, May 10, 2006

This review is from: Pass the Celery, Ellery! (Hardcover)
My kids ( ages 3-5) enjoy this one. The colors are bright and the rhymes amuse them. The point is to rhyme foods with people's names. Some books would present this in the same manner on each page, but the writer sets each page out a little differently making it more fun for the kids, and less tedious for the parents.

Cute book. I cannot even begin to count the amount of bizarre words that my kids have begun to rhyme (or attempt to) as a result of this book. It's a fun & silly read that parents won't mind reading. The kids will giggle all the way through. And it gets their little brains working, looking for nicknames they can create to rhyme with 'avocado' 'pork roll' or even 'waffle'
