If you want to feel confident going into the INS test interview and you only want to buy one book don't buy this one. The information in Masi's book is basic and written very much for those with very limited English comprehension skills. All the information in this book can be downloaded (without the pictures) for free from the INS website. (...)

This book is oriented for people with poor language skills. It covers neither history of US nor the structure of US government adequately. .....

I teach a class in U.S. Citizenship preparation. I found the book to be helpful in providing some basic data for the INS interview process. The book is meant for people with limited English skills, with more focus on the Spanish speaker. As such, it provides helpful information even in vocabulary skills such as might not be provided in a typical ESL class. I have found that many of my students, for instance, have never encountered the word "oath" before. This book provides an easy to understand definition of this word, along with the inclusion of a mini dictionary of other much needed vocabulary words in both English and Spanish in preparation for INS testing. I recommend the book, and most especially to the Hispanic person looking for study material for the U.S. citizenship test.

This book is good for everyone who is going to take the citizenship exam. No matter he/she knows what the U.S. culture and politic in the beginning. You just only read the questions and answers, then you will pass the exam if you are not stupid. No wonder the title of this book is "Pass the U.S. Citizenship Exam". Thanks for making the citizenship exam easier to everyone!
