Pass the ExCET on Your First Try is an excellent study manual for the Professional Development ExCET test for Texas teachers seeking certification. It covers the elementary and secondary levels. The book is unique in that it includes helpful study aids that address many different learning styles. Study aids such as illustrations, worksheets, outlined easy-to-study information, an acronym help system, and an interactive study module on CD! The layout of Mark's material is very attractive to teachers as it is clearly written and organized, and includes helpful illustrations that assist in the memorization process.

Pass the ExCET on Your First Try remains one of the most popular books for this exam and has launched Mr. Mentze's personal tutoring and half-day seminars for teacher education programs (EDPublish@aol.com).

This review is from: Pass the ExCET on Your First Try: Study Manual (with CD) for the ExCET Exam: Elementary and Secondary Professional Development Tests (Paperback)
I attended many reviews in different areas and received all sorts of study guides. Not to mention the ones that I purchased. This study guide is far superior to any others that I have read. The use of Mr. Mentze's acronyms are excellent. DO NOT pass this one up! This one is a must and place it at the top of your list!
